To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that we write this letter of recommendation for Greenberg Construction. Bruce Greenberg did a major remodel of our home that included completely demolishing our existing kitchen, building a new one, adding on a laundry room and doing some work in our living room to incorporate the new remodel. The entire process took about 4 months.
From the beginning of our contact with Greenberg Construction, Bruce was direct, forthright and honest with us. He is quick to respond to all calls and believes in the ‘courtesy call’ to keep you up-to-date. Because we wanted very little ‘hands on’ ourselves, he dealt with all subcontractors and delivery personnel himself. We left everything entirely in his very capable hands. There were no surprises in the contract or work and he and his wonderful wife Jen took care of everything for us. The day to day dealings with demolition and building were minimized for us as Bruce and Jen cleaned the area daily to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible. There was not a detail left unattended as they worked for us.
We could not be happier with the end result of our project. The kitchen is truly a special place and has changed the whole feel of the house. All of Bruce’s suggestions to tie the project into our existing home worked wonderfully. Bruce’s insight into lighting and creating workable space is truly his gift and he has a wonderful way of infusing his very considerable knowledge into the homeowner’s requests. He stays up-to-date in all areas of construction and brings a wealth of expertise to his projects. We highly recommend Greenberg Construction for any home project.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions,
Sincerely yours,
Tom and Peggy Seville

Bruce and Jennifer,
We just wanted to take the time to thank you for the patio cover you built for us. It’s so hard to believe all the work that goes into a project. First the idea, then a quote, who’s the best contractor for the job, in our case it was Bruce Greenberg Construction. Then the plans that need to be approved…Wow
You built it the way we wanted, even though it made it harder for you. The outcome is just what we wanted. The both of you make a good team. At the end of the day the site was left clean and tidy. Very organized…
We wanted to thank both of you, Bruce and Jennifer, for all the hard work, it looks great!
We would recommend you and we will call you for any more of my construction needs!

Bruce;
When I contacted you for an estimate on doing some work on the home I am building in Bear Valley Springs, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were still some contractors that took their business seriously. You provided me with an accurate estimate for many things that I wanted to do, but was out of my budget. We were able to narrow the list down to what my priorities were and signed a contract for the following work.
- Install 75 feet of retaining wall around the large Oak tree in front
- Replace the wood deck at the entrance with a more permanent solution of concrete.
- Replace front door threshold.
- Re-Grade the approximately 250 feet of driveway and install drain at low point.
- Pour 13 x 30 foot concrete RV pad
- Pour 6 inch thick concrete driveway. LOTS AND LOTS OF CONCRETE!
Once the permits were pulled, you quickly started with the block work for the retaining wall. As work progressed you always had suggestions to improve what we were doing. Naturally, these things added to the cost. However, you always gave me the pros and cons of each idea and let me decide. When it came time to do the driveway, you were able to get the cost down enough to allow us to use concrete instead of asphalt. I am so glad we went with concrete. The finished work looks great, as the photos show.
When I am able to accumulate more funds, I will not hesitate to call you for more work.
You have my permission to post any of the photos to your website.

Dear Bruce,
We just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful job you and Jen did on our garage remodel. We are a family of 7 living in a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house; tight quarters to say the least. We decided to convert the garage into some addition living space but were hesitant to do so because we were concerned that it would look just like that — a “garage conversion” instead of part of the house. Thanks to your attention to detail and expertise, we were pleasantly surprised!
We appreciate your strong work ethic and dependability. We knew that if you said you would be somewhere or do something that we could count on you. You gave us several cost effective, pragmatic ideas that really tied the whole project together. There were many times that I did not have a clear, concise idea of what I wanted, but you were always patient and professional and you put up with 5 kids running around while you were trying to work, that says a lot!!
Once again, thank you for the great job you and Jen did. I would
recommend your services to anyone needing to complete a remodeling or building project; big or small.
Sincerely,
The Cramer Family

Bruce Greenberg
GREENBERG CONSTRUCTION
Dear Bruce:
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the
office addition you built for our residence.
Being in the real estate development business
myself, I know a number of general contractors,
any one of which was more than qualified to do
the job. However, over several years time and a
variety of smaller jobs you have performed for
me personally, you and I have developed a
working relationship, and so I was convinced you
were best suited for this job. Needless to say,
I don't regret the decision.
Your meticulous review of working drawings and
attention to the smallest detail are essential
qualities in getting any structure built
properly. Your willingness to stop in mid-stride
and uncover inconsistencies, or make changes to
the architect's plans, have resulted in a
beautiful building and better structure. I know
all too well from my professional experience
that design and planning do not stop once the
architect has finished their work.
Thanks once more for going the extra mile; our
family extends our gratitude. Please feel free
to use my name for any personal reference you
may require.
Warmest regards,
Bruce Kaufman

Dear Bruce,
We just wanted to write to you and tell you how
much we appreciate the work you have done in the
past and are doing presently on our house. We've
known you now for almost eight years and the
quality of your work is consistently excellent
and you have the highest standard of
dependability. Almost the best part of working
with you is that you come back to ask if
everything worked out okay. Following up on your
work is something unheard of in this day and
age.
You practically built an entire side of my house
due to water damage and worked closely with my
insurance company during this project. You've
remodeled my bathroom, widened doorways for me
to my kitchen and den, assisted in the remodel
of my kitchen doing all the electrical work, and
also installed two new and very large windows in
my kitchen and master bath. All this work was
done very professionally and right the first
time.
We've come to trust your judgment on work
needed. You've assisted us in keeping within our
budget without cutting quality and your
contracts are easy to read and concise. Bruce,
I've never in the eight years knowing you used
another contractor.
We could honestly recommend you highly to anyone
who is looking for quality and dependability.
Thank you,
Karl and Kathleen

Re: Letter of recommendation
Dear Mr. Greenberg:
As you know, after purchasing our new home my
wife and I were disturbed to discover that a
major remodel was required before the house
could be made livable. Now that we have
officially moved in, I want to let you know that
we are delighted with the fine work you have
done.
Your crew is polite, dependable and extremely
knowledgeable. The quality of their work is
remarkably high.
Also helpful were your contracts, which clearly
showed us what we were paying for, and were
always accurate. When unforeseen circumstances
arose, you were quick to present us with options
which suited our budget.
This was our first experience with a contractor,
and we were pleased that you remained patient
and attentive throughout the entire process.
Thanks again for your fine work.
Regards, Larry Ring

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to inform others of my
satisfaction and pleasure in working with Bruce
Greenberg Construction.
Bruce came to my home, at my request, and helped
me design a large wall/desk unit for my guest
room. He followed through in a timely manner,
obtaining a cabinet-maker and a painter to
prepare the unit. He and his wife Jennifer came
to my home after the unit was installed and
spent time connecting up electrical and
telephone lines. I am very pleased with the
finished project.
Sincerely,
Anne Marie Novinger

Dear Bruce and Jennifer,
Howdy - as long as you two were here, I feel
like I know you both. I just wanted to thank you
for the lovely work you did on our porch.
Everyone that walks by thinks we have the
prettiest mobile in the park all because of your
work and, of course, Taylor and I do too. We
were very pleased with your work, price and the
time it took for such a large project. But it
was well worth everything you did when I thought
it should of been done yesterday and you'd just
started the day before-- remember? Ha ha.
We are very very happy it turned out so good. It
is just too beautiful for words.
Thank you again,
Joann & Taylor Brown

Letter of Recommendation
For
Bruce Greenberg of Greenberg Construction
May 17, 2004
To Whom It May Concern:
From: The Tusler Family
This is concerning the quality and type of
craftsmanship you can expect if you use Mr.
Greenberg as your Re-modeler/General Contractor.
Recently Mr. Greenberg was contracted by my wife
and me to perform a complete kitchen remodel
consisting of three walls, a three-section
counter top, a workstation island and flooring
that extends from the kitchen to the dining
area. The job also included installation of a
new double sink, stove and refrigerator.
Portions of the job presented major hurdles to
be overcome that required re-engineering to
maintain code, fit and the finish we desired.
Through persistence, perseverance and skill Mr.
Greenberg completed the entire job plus some
extras quickly and to our company satisfaction.
I am certain you will find as we have you are
getting much more than a contractor when you
hire this gentleman. I found him to be cheerful,
and some one I now call a friend. He is a man of
his word, with honor and will do whatever is
necessary to complete the job he has contracted
to do, to the approval of all parties.

From: Larry
Bruce and Jen, I would like to thank you for the deck
project you completed for us. We bought a new house in
Bear Valley Springs last August. It is a nice home, but
lacked a nice redwood deck. We had an idea but it was
not formalized until we met with you to discuss our
thoughts. We wanted copper railings and as much deck
space as possible. You put the concept down on paper and
presented it to the planning department. A few
alterations were required and accepted by both county
and local association committees. Work started the day
after Thanksgiving and ended the weekend before
Christmas. We are pleased with our new building addition
and how you captured what we had visualized.
